Bengali Medium

Proceedings of the meeting of the School Committee of the Vidyalaya (Bengali Medium) of the Ashrama held on Friday, the 23 rd May, 2008 at 7-00 p.m. at the Karmi Bhavana, Narendrapur.

Members Present :-

I. The proceedings of the last meeting held on Wednesday, the 26 th March, 2008 at 7-00 p.m. circulated among the members of the Committee present at the meeting were taken as read. The proceedings were then confirmed.

II. The Secretary's report was circulated among the members of the Committee present at the meeting and adopted after some discussions.

III. The following resolutions were passed :

1. Resolved that the Staff Council of the Vidyalaya (Bengali Medium) of the Ashrama be constituted with the following members and office bearers for the period retrospective 01.04.2008 to 31.03.2009.

2. Sri Gunamoy Dhar Secretary

3. Sri Sankarnath Bhattacharya Member

4. Sri Suniti Kumar Mondal Member

5. Sri Prabir Roy Member

2. Resolved that the Academic Council of the Vidyalaya (Bengali Medium) of the Ashrama be constituted with the following members and office bearers for the period retrospective 01.04.2008 to 31.03.2009.

1. Swami Satyatmananda(Headmaster) President

2. Sri Gunamoy Dhar Secretary

3. Dr. Debaprasad Pati Member

4. Sri Aloke Dutta Member

5. Sri Prasanta Gopal Hazra Member

3. Resolved that the action taken by the Secretary in granting medical leave with full pay which is due to the following members of the staff of this Vidyalaya (Bengali Medium) for the dates mentioned against their names be approved.

English Medium

Proceedings of the meeting of the School Committee of the Vidyalaya (English Medium) of the Ashrama held on Friday, the 23 rd May, 2008 at 7-00 p.m. at the Karmi Bhavana, Narendrapur.

Members Present :-

I. The proceedings of the last meeting held on Wednesday, the 26 th March, 2008 at 7-00 p.m. circulated among the members of the Committee present at the meeting were taken as read. The proceedings were then confirmed.

II. The Secretary's report was circulated among the members of the Committee present at the meeting and adopted after some discussions.

III. The following resolutions were passed :

1. Sri Saktipada Das, B.Com. served this Vidyalaya since 02.09.73 as a clerk and he retired from his service on 30.04.08 at the age of 60. The details of Sri Das are given below :

Resolved that District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas be requested to issue a prior permission to recruit a clerk in the vacant permanent post.

2. Considered the application dated 06.05.08 of Shri Saktipada Das, Clerk of this Vidyalaya (English Medium) praying for final settlement of his Contributory Provident Fund Account No. S-24 Pgs/SE/Narendrapur RKMV(EM)/27, since Sri Das retired from his service on 30.04.08 afternoon at the age of sixty.

Resolved that the amount of accumulation on the credit of the Contributory Provident Fund Account No. S-24 Pgs/SE/Narendrapur RKMV(EM)/27 of Sri Saktipada Das, a clerk of this Vidyalaya (English Medium) covering his own contribution, Govt. Contribution and the interest accrued thereon upto his retirement date be paid to him towards final settlement of his Contributory Provident Fund account. The District Inspector of Schools (SE) South 24 Parganas be moved accordingly.

3. Resolved that the action taken by the Secretary in appointing Sri Subhabrata Guria B.Com(Hons.), B.Lib. against the regular vacancy in the post of Librarian of the Vidyalaya (English Medium) vide D.I.'s permission Memo No. 397/Gen dated 27.04.07 be approved. In order of merit Sri Guria was the Second in the panel of three candidates approved by D.I's Memo No. 183/Gen dated 19.03.08, consisting of Sri Sital Mondal (First), Sri Subhrabrata Guria (Second) and Sri Kamal Chandra Mondal (Third). As Sri Sital Mondal informed the Secretary of the Vidyalaya of his inability to join in the post of Librarian through a letter dated 02.05.08, as per rules the second candidate, Sri Guria was appointed in the post of Librarian. The District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas be requested for the approval of the appointment.
